Amidst his hectic Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week tour and media schedule, Dutch house sensation Gregor Salto received word that he is the recipient of an ASCAP (American Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers) Latin award for “Echa Pa’lla,” his international smash hit single with multi-platinum selling superstar Pitbull.
The ASCAP Latin Music Awards are a stellar evening which applauds the contributions of songwriters and publishers. Gregor is proud to be in the company of such respected and accomplished fellow recipients, and looks forward to rolling out the massive projects he has slated for 2013.
Gregor and Chuckie teamed up together for the new "Toys are Nuts 2013". You might know this track from 2006, when this was the first collaboration of Gregor and Chuckie. "Toys are Nuts" became a big club hit in Holland in 2006 and it was one of the important precursors for the 'Dutch' sound.
Now it's time for a renewed version for 2013 with support from guys like Tiësto (played in his recent Club Life podcast) , Bingo Players, Tommie Sunshine, Mastiksoul, Diplo, Chocolate Puma, Funkin Matt and Boddhi Satva.
